Both of them have a top speed of 329 km/hr. The Moonhawk and Barstow have a similar 5.8 liter engine but they produce around 700-720 HP and has a 7500 rpm limit. and the D Series has a top speed of 297 km/hr.
So the Wendover and D-Series have the same 5.8 liter engine producing over 850 HP and has 9000 rpm limit. The Generation 5 COT Stock Car was one of the safest generations of the NASCAR stock car while also being one of the most blowover bound cars.
